0xPlasma Labs receives initial approval to deploy Uniswap v3 to BNB Chain


0xPlasma Labs obtained preliminary governance approval to deploy the Uniswap V3 protocol to the BNB proof-of-stake (PoS) Chain.

0xPlasma Labs initiated a proposal on Dec. 12, 2022, looking for approval to deploy the Uniswap v3 to BNB Chain.

As per the proposal, Uniswap may benefit from an extra $1 billion of TVL and 1-2 million new customers from BNB Chain.

Following due consideration, the Uniswap governance neighborhood has voted to assist the temperature verify proposal.

Overwhelming vote turnout

Over 80% of contributors dedicated about 20 million UNI tokens to assist the movement, whereas roughly 19.72% voted towards it, in line with the voting result.

Shifting ahead, 0xPlasma Labs will submit the proposal for last governance approval earlier than the Uniswap v3 protocol could be deployed to the BNB chain.
