After signing Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač to the team in October, we announced that we would be alternating our starting roster for the remainder of the year to properly assess all our options and create the best iteration possible for G2.
After playing with two different versions of the roster, changing between François ‘AmaNEk’ Delaunay at BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 and DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 and JACKZ at IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 Europe, we have reached the difficult decision. It is now effective. Audric ‘JACKZ’ Jug Our starting roster will be moved to the bench. Nemanja ‘huNter-’ Kovač, François ‘AmaNEk’ Delaunay, Nemanja ‘nexa’ Isaković, Kenny ‘kennyS’ Schrub, And Nikola ‘NiKo Kovač.
We have been playing with you for more than 2 years. JACKZ CS:GO’s most prominent player, Audric. Audric played a key role in returning G2 back to the top of CS:GO with 2 Major appearances, several Grand Final appearances and victories at GGL 2019 as well as Champions Cup Finals. He is a fierce competitor and we are proud of him being part of the #G2ARMY.
J., the team manager, spoke about the decision.érôme ‘NiaK’ Sudries said:
We made it clear when NiKo arrived that we were not looking to create a six-man roster. We had six players with different personalities and qualities so our goal was to find the best combination. It’s all about harmony and synergy. Even if we can predict certain things, the server is always a better judge. Our test focused on JACKZ and AMANEK, and we quickly realised that our system benefited more from François’ qualities.
We have decided to remove JACKZ (from the active roster) and allow him to explore his options in 2021. Audric, a true passion-driven and dedicated player, has demonstrated that he has the skills to perform at the highest level. I would like to thank him for his genuine and unfailing dedication over the past two years, and I have no doubt that he will contribute to the success of his future team.”
While JACKZ Although he is still under contract, we allow him to explore his options. Those interested can reach NiaK or Head Esports, Danny Engels.
We’d like to thank everyone for their continued support and of course, JACKZ His outstanding play and hard work over the past two-years. We will see you again at the server.
