Southampton’s Premier League conflict with Aston Villa was briefly suspended following the looks of a drone at St Mary’s.
The drone was noticed flying above the stadium within the forty second minute of the match, which was goalless, with play subsequently halted by referee Michael Salisbury.
The gamers returned to their dressing rooms whereas a number of supporters left their seats as Southampton’s security officer surveyed the state of affairs.
Nevertheless, play resumed 9 minutes later with the hosts on the lookout for a victory that may raise them out of the relegation zone.
The sport has been paused resulting from a drone flying above the stadium.
Each groups have returned to their dressing room.
